We are a small hobby kennel located outside of Palmer, Alaska.  Our motto is that
brains and beauty are NOT mutually exclusive!  Our dogs are the English style, pretty and
robust, with slightly more square heads.  They adhere strictly to the AKC breed standard.
However, if they cannot hunt, they are not bred.  Our dogs must be able to be physically
active, performing in the obedience ring, agility trial, hunt test, and then take a bath and
shine in the conformation ring.  In short, they do it all!  We breed for temperament - I call
our dogs "light switch" dogs.  They are excited and ready to work when you are, but then
just as happy to relax in the truck (without ripping up your upholstery!) when you are ready
to break for coffee.  You can live with our dogs nicely.  We also test for hereditary
defects, and we adamant that our dogs must pass our rigorous vetting before they are bred.
